With some gems from the Criterion Collection, as well as modern indie masterpieces, Kanopy does its best to get high-quality and critically acclaimed cinema into people’s living rooms, and all at no cost. but that was it! Everything else was just something we've seen too many times before to evoke any excitement watching it.If you particularly love artsy or classic films, Kanopy is the best site for your free movie streaming purposes. I cannot say that the screenplay was out of date - it caught up with the times, with one plot point revolving around social media run amok, off-handed, invoking everyone from Barack Obama to Melissa Harris-Perry, Olivia Pope and Robin Thicke.

Some of the critics describe it as "both a romp and a tearjerker", and they were right, but none of those descriptions are positive for me. but it was just too long that anyone could remember! Over 2 hours of watching it made me indifferent about anything happening in the house and around it - it was like watching the old episodes of Dallas or some of those long lost soap operas with different actors. Lee did everything to revive the story from 14 years ago. the story of Mia Sullivan (Monica Calhoun), wife of Lance Sullivan (Morris Chestnut), requesting the gangs attendance for Christmas because she has cancer, was just too predictable, as were the characters in the story: Harper Stewart (Taye Diggs) and his nine-month pregnant wife Robin (Sanaa Lathan), Julian and Candace (Harold Perrineau and Regina Hall), her best friend Jordan Armstrong (Nia Long) and boyfriend Brian (Eddie Cibrian), Quentin (Terrence Howard), and Shelby (Melissa De Sousa). It looked as a HBO production, but it wasn't. It had enough laughs but it was so clichéd that you could guess in advance what is next, which simply took the joy of watching it, away! Lee - awkward! It is a sequel to the 1999 film, The Best Man and it stars Taye Diggs, Terrence Howard, Harold Perrineau, Morris Chestnut, Monica Calhoun, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, Melissa De Sousa and Regina Hall, reprising their roles from the 1999 film along with the supporting cast.

I am not a great fan of American Christmas comedy-dramas, and I really found this film directed and written by Malcolm D.
